This comparison does not establish strength, fatigue life or road approval by itself. Those require the correct design, loading limits and testing for the complete vehicle.
Parallel batteries: what is specified?
For YAK-3, YakTrik-2 and Hippo II, the current configuration is two 48 V 20 Ah packs connected in parallel, with a configured expansion to four packs. Packs and connection hardware must be supplied as a compatible system; this is not a user wiring instruction.
Assistance, not just a headline power figure
Current European configurations use a 250 W rear motor with differential and 5 assist levels. North American configurations use 500 W with throttle as an option where permitted. A separate VCU is not included in the current European offer.
How far will it go?
Range figures are manufacturer-supplied reference values, not guaranteed journey distances or independent test results. Rider input, load, route, assistance level, speed, tyre pressure, weather and battery condition affect range. Ask for the test conditions for your exact configuration.
Ask for evidence for your exact build
Request the measurement basis, relevant test information, certification scope and destination-market configuration. Reference photos can show equipment that is not part of the quoted build.
